Services

Lower the rate, or move the fee.

Every program below does one of those two things. Which one fits depends on what you sell, who you sell it to, and what your customers put in front of you at the counter. That is the whole point of reading the statement first.

The programs

Six of them, and you will not need all six.

Merchant Services Basics

The account itself, and everything that touches it.

Credit and debit card processing, mobile payments, check guarantee and conversion, ACH payments, point of sale systems, and loyalty and gift card programs. Terminals for a high volume retail counter or for an office that takes a card occasionally, plus contactless and handheld equipment that travels with you.

  • Countertop terminals, mobile readers and contactless
  • ACH, check guarantee and conversion
  • Loyalty programs and gift cards

Level 2 and 3 Processing

Pay a lower tier by sending more of the transaction.

Business and corporate cards can be expensive to accept, often between 2.65% and 2.96%. Capturing additional data fields at the point of sale moves those transactions to a lower tier, anywhere from 1.85% to 2.06%. Once MONA configures it, the capture runs automatically. It matters most if your customers are other businesses or government agencies.

  • 2.65% to 2.96% at Level 1
  • 1.85% to 2.06% at Level 2 and 3
  • Set up once, executed automatically

RewardPay Surcharging

A compliant surcharge, so the cost stops being yours.

A federal law permits merchants to add a surcharge to credit card transactions to offset the merchant fees. MONA built the software that does it legally, and describes the program as saving up to 90% in credit card fees. The program itself is free, and it stays compliant with the applicable laws and with the major card brands including Visa and Mastercard.

  • Up to 90% saved in credit card fees
  • Free to add, compliant where surcharging is permitted
  • Customers can avoid the fee with debit, or with a gift card

Consumer Choice

Two prices at checkout, and the customer decides.

A cash price that carries no charge and a card price that does, presented side by side. You are not limited to one payment method: credit, debit and cash all work. Accounts settle at the end of the business day, so funds arrive the next day, and there is no contract because MONA does not lock clients into one.

  • Next day funding
  • No contract
  • Fully compliant and legal

eCommerce and Shopping Cart

Take payment online, in an app, or on a subscription.

All in one online solutions compatible with leading shopping carts including 3dcart, Shopify, Lemonstand, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and CubeCart. MONA is an authorized reseller for Paya, Authorize.net, NMI, Accept.Blue and CenPOS. Subscriptions and recurring billing for membership sites, and payment acceptance inside your own mobile or web application.

  • Carts: 3dcart, Shopify, Lemonstand, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, CubeCart
  • Gateways: Paya, Authorize.net, NMI, Accept.Blue, CenPOS
  • Subscriptions, recurring billing and in-app payments

The MONA Gateway

Their own platform, when the off the shelf ones do not fit.

A proprietary gateway that handles invoicing, transaction tracking and revenue reporting in one place, with real time dashboards, recurring payments and credit card, ACH and mobile acceptance. It is what MONA reached for when Authorize.net's ACH functionality and payout times were holding NASA Services back, and it integrated with The V Group's ERP to give them next day ACH.

  • Invoice creation, sending and tracking
  • Real time reporting and analytics
  • Credit card, ACH and mobile in one platform

Industries

Some of it is built for one trade only.

Three sectors where MONA has gone past a generic merchant account and built to the software the industry actually runs on.

Trucking dealers

Payments that talk directly to your dealership management software. The MONA integration with DSI Solutions posts a customer payment straight into DSI, which removes the double entry and the errors that come with it. Available in the United States and Canada, with CenPOS as an alternative gateway.

Automotive

Dealerships taking large transactions through automotive POS, invoicing software and dealership management platforms. Fleet and towing paid on the go by drivers and technicians, repair shops taking contactless at the counter, and tire and parts stores selling in person and online.

B2B and industrial

Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and supply chain. Large ticket sales, ACH and eCheck, custom and recurring billing, digital invoicing, ERP and accounting integration, PCI compliant transactions, and Level 2 and 3 card processing on the corporate cards that make up most of the volume.

Certified, and it is checkable

And the credentials behind it are public record.
